BOOTY

Here we go again!
Need to fix the damn server, but before that... intro to some goodies for metal-sailors.

RAVAGE-The End of Tomorrow (2009) [Heavy/Power M. US]

Simply A•M•A•Z•I•N•G! Get it absolutely. This album engulfs all the early sub-genres of Metal in the 80s, blends them and spins them into gold, which is well worth the experience. A perfect follow to the likewise ablazing predecessor "Freedom Fighter" (2005). And it kicks in with perfect timing in the New Wave of Old School Metal riding the waves of the metal sea lately.
Hei, these dudes from Boston have been around since 1995 with ONLY 1 album prior to this one: the others are all EPs and Lives disc. In short, a pure live act! Production's good, crunchy&pounding mid-tempo rythm, freaky riffs and a fucking 'evil gremlin'-like singing I love! After listening to it, you'll be craving to see them live! Start with "Shredder" and "Into the Shackles" and then you're good for the rest.

EVIL ONE-Evil Never Dies (2009) [Heavy/Thrash M. Fra.]

Dudes, when you listen to somebody covering ADX, that means you've got to slow down and consider the possibility that what you've got in the hands (and ears) may be quite valuable! And indeed E.O. qualifies for the Cpt. library. Nothing absolutely new or that may leave a new mark on the scene in what stays around the ADX cover. Yet they cripple you with a very cool mix of riffs and clichè lyrics, able to give you really an enjoyable banging time. I think it is since the times of DREAM EVIL - which I liked very much - I didn't happen to stumble upon something so classic, yet so refreshing. Hei-hei...! And wanna know what? They played live with HELLHOUND too, last year. Check them out.

PARADOX-Riot Squad (2009) [Power/Thrash M. Ger.]

If you don't know them, prepare your ass for Ctp. boot! 8 long years they had us to wait for "Electrify". But luckily awesome German thrashers Paradox delivered their 5th just one year after! These 10 new syringes of electrified progressive thrash metal will have you banging your head to death! No doubt. Fasten seat-belts and enjoy the boast which starts with "Suburban Riot Squad" and that drags you in juggernaut momentum through the rest of this marvelous metal treasure box. This is real modern thrash metal, which looks backward only to smile and nod at its rich past, then turns face and marches into the future, where it will be kicking asses for time to come.

Opensesami is always the same.

Cpt., out!
