MY JAPAN

Sailors...!If you are on FACEBOOK, like Japan and have time, check the page at the link below. It is promoting a photographic competition to collect funds to help Tohoku people. There is really plenty of beautiful images of this country. Like those you prefer! They are going to select the most hit ones and make a book. I also have posted some. Everybody can participate. Check them out!

STILL ALIVE AND KICKIN'....!!

Sailors!
I'm not dead! I'm still alive and kickin'...!
At least, as as long as heavy metal goes!
Of course I kept up with shooting gigs and dealing with Japanese (and, whenever possible, international) metal. Let's just say that I dropped the regular updating of the blog, since Facebook offers a way for everybody to stay in contact in a rather less time-consuming way than a dedicated blog. By the way, if you want drop by, you can check the Cpt. deeds on Live Action Hero / Concert Photography (and more) FB page (or on his other site; check it out from the FB page).

I'll try to keep this space up-to-date too, as much as I can. I know that not everybody like FB...

This weekend I will be travelling to Osaka with HELLHOUND for their next mayhem over there. Check it out below. And if you happen to be around, do come showing your asses! They've got plenty of kicking for you!
Cheers!

GEKI ROCK FEST Vol. 9

There you go!

Again with some delay, but I am finally able to post you a few shot of Nov. 26th SERNITY IN MURDER, ANTERIOR and LAZARUS AD gig of Geki Rock Fest Vol. 9 tour.
What to say...? A blow! Probably the best ever gig I attended lately. Cyclone live house was packet up to the ceiling and after SIM ignition, all hell broke lose with ANTERIOR and LAZARUS. Mosh pits to death; walls of death and dudes flying and raining from the air all the time. Amazing performance and great fun!

And after the gig, after party with bands member at Rockaholic, Shibuya...

AFTERZERO

There you go, sailors...
A few pics from "Rainbow bridge to Wallhalla"'s gig, last saturday at Crescendo, Kichijouji, Tokyo. As usual, with the 'main dish' AFTERZERO, a bounch of other cool bands were on the menu. One pain particular deserve to be checked out: TEAM KIN-YA. I have absolutely no recollection of having seen them before, but they do kick asses! Guitar shredding is awesome and the vocalist is a god! The best ever acute singing I witnessed so far here around. Needless to say AFTERZERO raged mayhem, presenting also a new grinding track, while, toward the, end all hell broke loose with menbers from other bands getting on the stage, singing and artying together.
Interesting note: since each band had to propose a cover, YOUTHQUAKE covered Afterzero's Ritual Carnage... with tatal fun for everybody!

Hei! I didn't know I got a camera right at my shoulder!!
