HARD DRUNK STRIP

Real deal!
Great show and great fun, two nights ago at the first of the three days "Hard Drunk Strip" venue, at Koenji's Missions live-house (Tokyo). "Hard" because it is hard standing for three days in a row... "Drunk" because there a treacherous NOMI-HOUDAI coming with it (which means all you can drink for the money you give). And "Strip" because - hell yeah! - there is a strip...! Yes, yes... chicks, tits, butts, heirs... that kind of stuff, you know...

But, hey, slow down! Don't rush to pics: I got none of that! Prohibited! Matrix (sucky) laws...!

Anyway, on stage, together with
Hellhound (my target), Bang! Betty's (sorry, page's off), Flower, Real-Tension, Turbins Drive and Brunet Bull! All people from around here (Flower, fom Hokkaido and Real Tension from Shizuoka), but not all of them necessarily metal. Nonetheless all very enjoyable! Particularly Real-Tension (kick-ass and screamy) and Bang! Betty's, which delivered a nice Maiden "Aces high" cover!

Cpt. managed to stay relatively focused until Hellhound show (the second listed), which was short but kicky! Then beverages - already leading - took over...! After the last all-on-stage the night ended in yakitoriya, drinking & chit-chating with Crossfire and friends (thanks pal!) ...

HARD DRUNK STRIP...

What a night... «...Judas Priest Live... Judas Priest Live...»!

Gosh...! Guess it's since last year Frohlic Bar (Hollywood) with J13 that Cpt. didn't drink so much!
And telling the truth, I was about to film myself in the toilet again...! Yep, drunk!
Anyway, awesome night with Hellhound and others!

I'll tell you in few days: I'll be busy from tomorrow... and now I'm doomed.

第四回 紅白メタル歌合戦

«What the hell does that mean...?»
That's what you're thinking, right now, uh? Cpt. knows everything!
Well, it should sound like Red/White Metal Confrontation Vol. 4 and it's the the gig I attended yesterday night at Ookubo Hot Shots live house, Tokyo.
It was a rather improvised detour, since I got an invitation just the day before by buddy Jouji, bassist of After Zero (thanks a lot, again!). And you know, Cpt. is always eager to witness
After Zero live... particularly during holidays time (just started here, folks)!

Anyway, on the menu, all people from the neighborhood: DEATHABALONE
, AFTER ZERO, SCREAMING SYMPHONY, SATANIC HERITAGE, HATRED ANGEL.
Very nice night. After Zero weren't the main dish, but kicked ass more than all the others put together! Energy, grinding and screaming as required by serious headbangers. Plus very active audience! Oh, yeah, they delivered a new, unreleased and yet unnamed track... temporarily called "Ninja".
Screaming Symphony
and Satanic Heritage shouldn't be new to you, if you have been following the blog (cf. previous posts). Both awesome performer and quite enjoyable, despite not being my preferred style (speed/power the first, death/thrash the second).
Dethabalone
is a young band with a rather unusual (as far as I witnessed around here) female bassist vocalist. A bit "It's a long way to the top... " [AC/DC quote], but I liked them (Arch Enemy-like).
Hatred Angel
, sponsor of the night, were quite... how to say... displacing. A very impressive death appearance that revealed... three very nice guys! So nice that they delivered, together with more proper melodic-death stuff, a series of animetal-like tunes too!
One only regret: new house, new lights got me. Pics turned out to be very deluding. Particularly for never-standing still After Zero and Screaming Symphony (no one good)!
