There you go, sailors...A few pics from "Rainbow bridge to Wallhalla"'s gig, last saturday at Crescendo, Kichijouji, Tokyo. As usual, with the 'main dish' AFTERZERO, a bounch of other cool bands were on the menu. One pain particular deserve to be checked out: TEAM KIN-YA. I have absolutely no recollection of having seen them before, but they do kick asses! Guitar shredding is awesome and the vocalist is a god! The best ever acute singing I witnessed so far here around. Needless to say AFTERZERO raged mayhem, presenting also a new grinding track, while, toward the, end all hell broke loose with menbers from other bands getting on the stage, singing and artying together.Interesting note: since each band had to propose a cover, YOUTHQUAKE covered Afterzero's Ritual Carnage... with tatal fun for everybody!
Hei! I didn't know I got a camera right at my shoulder!!
Howdy, sailors!
AFTERZERO time, this weekend!Long time no pics!
Cpt.will be checking them out at CRESCNEDO Live House, Kichijouji, Tokyo.A whole bunch of screaming dudes on the stage and each band will also perform a cover.Apparently AFTERZERO will not only take on METALLICA, but will also present new material, (also on free CD to venue guests!).Stay tuned!
Sailors...
Get ready to be metalized! New albums is coming soon!
Sailors...After some delay due to a naval mission in foreign waters, I am finally able to post a few shots of The First Frisson of the World Release Party, done on Sept. 23rd 2011 at Club Mission, in Koenji (Tokyo). Lots of folks around and the house got really bombastic, when they jumped on the stage and raised mayhem. The reaction of the crowd really reminded AS I LAY DYING, during they several appearances here in Japan. People really loved them and literally got crazy at their sound.
Anyway, these young fella's are really good!
Sailors...!Time to rock!
Tomorrow at Club Mission Live House in Koenji, Tokyo, first gig of SERENITY IN MURDER for the promotion of their newly released album. See you there, hopefully!
Hi sailors!Check out the link below (click the image) and vote for Cpt. pics, if you have a minute...!Apparently he is the only decleared live-reporter...Cheers!
Sailors...
Long time no post!
I finally find some time to beam up and show you a few pics of the two last gigs I attended (before fuc*ing up completely my right leg... a swansong)! One is the HELLHOUND's gig advertised below (which actually was the second): little to tell you about it. You already know it: awesome headbanging and fun, as usual. Just not really many people around that day, most likely because of Obon festival. Their new album is in progress right now and it is expected within the year, but when you go live you can already get a preview of what you are going to get next, with the title track "Let's metal rule the world", a low/mid tempo old school grinder, which is the end of your neck!
The other one (for which I was called first - indeed I did two in a row in two different places) was of SERENITY IN MURDER, a relatively new, young, but very talented MDM band. I have got them under my radar, since I have been blown away by a promo thing of them that a friend introduced me. And I tell you: they are really a kick-ass! Young lady Emi on the microphone does give you the creeps with her astonishing MDM growl, while the rest of them encase and bury you in a metal casket, for your MDM enjoyment! To be checked out absolutely! Their first album "The first frisson of the earth" is coming out on SEPT. 14TH... and Cpt. is already drooling. Cheers!
